About the Writer

Xaria is a Black woman from the southern region of America, with Black American and Caribbean Heritage. Writing has always been her preferred method of thinking and processing the world around her, hence the site name.

Xaria has a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition, and teaches at the college level. She advocates for cultural writing, language, and rhetorical traditions of these cultures through her research. She is also an advocate for humanity and service in her community involvement.

In her free time, she likes to hobby hop. Some of her current hobbies include roller-skating, crocheting, and light gaming.
